CSG Data Networks - Testing Services
CSG Data Networks provides network analysis at any or all phases – from requirements definition through acceptance testing. CSG offers superior planning, design, testing and deployment services to help ensure that products and systems work right the first time – every time. We also offer independent vendor agnostic third party testing services to ensure a wireless network is designed, deployed, and functioning as specified. CSG is a leading network integrator specializing in ubiquitous coverage wireless broadband networks for municipalities. Having deployed and placed in-service multiple cities (ranging in size from 10 to 45 square miles) and literally 1000’s of outdoor radios, cameras, and other devices, we have extensive experience in all phases of network planning, design, deployment, and test. CSG has offices in Florida, South Carolina, and Mississippi. We have our own Network Operations Center (NOC), and in-house equipment repair center. We are certified by Tropos, Cisco, Motorola, Trango, Alvarion, Redline, Axis, IQ-Invision, and other leading equipment suppliers. However, we are and always have been, vendor agnostic - equipment choice is always application dependent. We always choose equipment that is the “best-in-class” for the specific applications. By following this truth, we provide network solutions that meet our customer’s needs and exceed their expectations. Outdoor wireless broadband network compliancy testing requires more than test equipment, it requires an in-depth knowledge of the deployed equipment, the purpose of the network, network design philosophy, geography of the deployment area, and a full understanding of the owners expectations. We provide a complete suite of conformance, interoperability, and performance tests. We utilize our own vehicles equipped with systems calibrated and configured to verify the characteristics of the network under test, e.g., a network designed to provide mobile coverage has very different design, deployment, and performance parameters than one designed to support residential coverage. Networks that specify the inclusion of video are again different and require different design philosophy. However, in every case, the overarching question to be answered is: “did you get what you paid for?” We can not only tell you if you did, or not, and in the case of “not”, we can work with your network integrator to make it right or, if desired, we can correct the deficiencies with our own in-house staff. |
